Early Afternoon, Day One

[Sorry for the delay in updates, but as I mentioned things were quite busy this weekend and I was waiting for more of a majority of replies. I will try my best to keep the updates going while I'm away as well.

If anyone is finding themselves too busy or disinterested and cannot or does not wish to continue, that's fine with me; but PLEASE tell me so I'm not waiting around for you.]

The party soon heads down the path to the right; the long corridor quickly descends into darkness. After traveling a fair way, the party comes to a corner, which swerves them to the left. Eventually, they reach another junction: the main passage continues forwards to the north, while the main path branches off to the east.

  1. Kit sighs, and looks around slightly, before listening for anything unusual again. Given the last encounter happened unexpectedly, he prepares his crossbow to fire .. just in case.

  2. Shrugging to himself, Mephis continues on the path in front of Gauronne, keeping his ears on 'alert,' the occassional bits of silence actually causing him pain in his ears. (You know the whole 'silence is deafening' bit.) His hands tight on his weapons, ready to fling them up and out on a moment's notice... but is also noticably tense.

  3. While the party has been making their way thru these passages, Gauronne has been making steady use of his SLG Stone and Lore skill, attempting to discern where there might be any pockets of magick (both obvious and inobvious) to worry about. He has also been exercising his Detect Trap skill, at least to the extent of looking carefully for peculiar discontinuities in the floor and/or walls and/or ceiling. OOC: Automata, you can assume that as a standing order, Gauronne will be keeping his eyes open, and doing visual Searches For Traps And Other Nastiness, pretty much all the time. This effort may or may not yield any useful results, depending on how good Vlad-boy is at concealment, of course. Also as a standing order: Any time Gauronne notices something like a trap or magick, he will pass the word along to the other party members. G. may not be able to do much on the physical side, so he's gonna make a point of exploiting his brains and skills and suchlike.
Also: I note that we've been marching along a corridor which "descends into darkness". Since the party includes at least one or two folks who do not see well in the dark, I rather suspect that someone would have taken Mephis up on the "if you need light, let me know" offer he made in the comments to Late Morning, Day One. Yes? No?

  4. Yeah, I'm still wondering if anyone WOULD take me up on that light offer, but I'm behind the head person, so it wouldn't do much.

  5. OOC: Ah William would of taken the offer then. I hadn't thought about where you were

Upon reaching the next interesection, William asks the others. "So...anyone notice anything strange coming from the cross roads, or are we still going right?" He asks as he keeps an eye out for any movement.
