Combat Resolution

[Sorry the update is a bit late today]

Mephis and the male centaur bash at each other: Mephis gets in a fairly good cut into his opponent before the mace sends him flying backwards with a huge hit. Kit's bolt fires, but the centaur dodges it just in time. Immediately recognizing the danger, Gauronne casts Slumber upon the raging horse-man hybrid. Though he is physically powerful, his resistance to magic is weak and the giant equine-legged creature collapses to the ground.

The female centaur, engaged by (I'll assume) William, is a much simpler affair. Though Leremy's arrows do no damage, his bolts, Sarah's bullet and William's swing make short work of her.

The combat is over; the party is victorious.

  1. Though disappointed by his somewhat failed attempt at combat, Kit does not let said disappointment get the best of him. Instead, he unequips the bolts and crossbow, and equips his sword, before gently poking at the fallen female centaur's bow with it, mostly out of curiosity. Though not really one to loot a corpse, if it showed no initial signs of being dangerous, he could probably find some use for it.

  2. *look sadly at the bodies* who did this, dont have any apologize....

    *close the corpses eyes*

I think, we must put them in a place that they can disturb the pass...and try to leave them with honor...in all way, they were humas some time ago...

  3. Leremy coldly stares at the bodies for a second, almost in fear, and then looks up at the passageways ahead, shaking his head to get the image out of his head.

"Which way should we go?" Leremy asked Decisively. He grits his teeth, trying to shake the image of Mephis' wound out of his head.

"ugh... I hate having a conscience..." He turned around bitterly, putting away his bow, and putting his hands above Mephis' wound.

    [Action: Cast Heal?]

  4. Getting up slowly and nursing the mace wound on hos body, he grunts a bit, the blunted object probably fracturing his rib and gets up slowly, wobbling towards the fallen Male Centaur and kicks the horse's half's gut, suddenly feeling someone behind him, resting a hand on his wound. "Huh?"

  5. Gauronne will examine the bodies, using his SLG Stone to record all the data thus gained. Said examination will include one more Magick Point burned for a close-range, (hopefully) more-detailed Probe spell, the better to acquire more information. Gauronne will not take any tissue samples or otherwise disturb the centaurs' bodies; all he's gonna take with him is information.
After he's finished gathering data, Gauronne will then see how badly Mephis was hurt -- and in all likelihood, be pleasantly surprised to note what condition Mephis is in after Leremy's Heal spell. Gauronne will at least try to compare notes with Leremy as regards Healing magick; if Leremy doesn't wish to do that, or if circumstances do not allow a peaceful conversation, Gauronne will not force the issue. He's led a sheltered life, yes, but he ain't suicidal or stupid...
