[I'm not sure why the map is so blurry today. Also, the party obtains 30 XP for defeating the haunted potatoes.]The party troops along the next right-most corridor until they come to a halt in front of a locked, wooden door. The lock is a little rusty, but still functional, so the proper key or some kind of lock-picking will work.
Along the way (at position 2), Gauronne and Leremy notice some Arcana writing. It is rather basic, but the message is rather cryptic: Don't Turn On The Light! has been written with a feeling of earnestness.
[Also, decide if you're going to rest, and if so, where, as fatigue penalties will be kicking in on the next update if you don't.]
[The best time for the "live" RP is I think 3 PM PST/6 PM EST; if anyone wants to know what time that is where they are and are unsure, I can probably tell you if you give me your time zone. It won't be happening for week or so, however, and probably on a Thursday.]

ReplyDeleteKit, still with a hold on Sarah's hand, stops nearby the door. Deciding to take a quick rest before finding out what's behind Door Number 2, he sits, and stretches a bit, patting the spot next to him, suggesting Sarah might join him if she wishes. As for actual rest in terms of sleep, he lets out a light sigh, adn nods. 'I'm feel a bit winded. If you guys wanna call it sleepy time, it should probably be in shifts."

You know, when the eeeerie sounds might poke their way through the caverns." He brushes Sarah's cheek gently. "I think you should take the morning shift. After all, a lady needs her beauty sleep, right?"

ReplyDeleteHe makes an unusual noise, akin to a human imitating a feline purr. "Heh, no wonder why cats like it when you scratch them on the head so much." He glances at Sarah. "Sure, but we should sleep sitting up against the wall. It'll be easier for shift sleeping that way." He sits against the wall, and nods.

ReplyDeleteWith a rather loud sigh, Mephis leans up against a wall, pointing to Kit. "You can sleep. I'll take first watch." he mutters wrapping his arms around him, his eyes looking up and down the corridor. "Question is, who's next? I'm not stayin' up all night ya know."

ReplyDeleteLeremy, Looking Down in a thoughtful manner, as he has through most of the dungeon, looks up. "I will." He turns over to Mephis. "This is where it gets crucial you know. Being flanked will decrease our chance of survival, especially while everyone is sleeping."
Since first, second, and third shifts have apparently been taken, Gauronne will claim fourth shift for keeping watch. Apart from that, he will prepare his own meal from the supplies he brought with him. He also wishes he had a spell anywhere in the general neighborhood of a proximity alarm, to warn us of appropaching danger... ah, well.
ReplyDeleteKit nods, and rests his head on Sarah's. "As I said, I'll take midnight or the closest-felt equivalent. So wake me up at that time." He lcoses his eyes, and quickly drifts into a restful sleep.
